Mom and Dad with newborn in black and white

We like for families to schedule an appointment before the baby is due. This helps to ensure your date needed will be available. We recommend scheduling around seven months if possible, as mamas get really busy; maternity, birth, and newborn sessions can all be booked at the same time.  Newborn portraits sessions are normally scheduled within the first 10 days after the baby is born.  This is because the baby is still very sleepy and it is easier to get those perfect squishy baby pictures we all love. This does not mean we can't still get newborn pictures that you love, if you do schedule after the baby is born. This is just a general generality and we like to use. If your baby  has already been born, please contact us as quickly as possible.

When you show up at the studio, we want you to sit back and relax and let us take care of all the work. We will undress, Susan, and feed the baby for the duration of the session. If you exclusively breast-feed then we will bring the baby back to you for nothing. We tried to do as much as possible to let you have a break and keep from overstimulating the baby. If you use a pacifier, please bring one for the session  we will be happy to use it. If not you may consider bringing one just for the session.  Pops, headbands, hat, and rompers are all provided by the studio.

We usually use the following workflow: mom > dad > family > siblings > baby – this workflow could take up to three hours. We know that the baby runs the show!

Now for the FUN!  The Viewing and ordering appointment. This is where you get to view the images and purchase any products that you love. We are a custom full-service photography studio and take care of all of your needs. Products available are canvases, metals, albums, accordion books, birth announcements, and more!

We see clients  from Midlothian, Mansfield, Alvarado, Burleson, Cleburne, Joshua, Fort Worth, Venus, Maypearl, Grandview, and other cities around the DFW area.
